The Toronto District School Board seeks a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Health and Wellness Manager to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive health, wellness, and workplace abilities programs. This role will promote a proactive culture of well-being, enhance staff resilience, and support employee health, engagement, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote employee well-being and resilience.
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of health, wellness, and workplace abilities programs.
- Oversee workplace abilities initiatives, including accommodations, flexible work arrangements, and proactive wellness strategies.
- Lead the Attendance Awareness Program and Disability Management Program.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide strategic advice and guidance on complex health-related issues.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through data analysis and employee feedback.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to proactively identify program enhancements and mitigate potential challenges.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in health and wellness program development and implementation.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
