Overview

Myticas Consulting seeks an experienced Chief Data Center Network Architect to develop and deliver service offerings for the IP Fabric and domain controller within the Data Center Fabric solution. The selected candidate will work closely with customers, leading architecture discussions and requirements-gathering workshops.

This role requires cross-domain knowledge, with a familiarity in Data Center networking and Cloud concepts expected. A strong working-level knowledge of IP Networking and Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), QoS, L2 and L3 VPNs, EVPN, NAT, etc. is required.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of work experience in the IP Routing domain and experience in consulting and delivering professional services directly to external customers. Strong hands-on network integration and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture discussions and requirements-gathering workshops with customers.
  • Document, present, and deliver relevant design collateral, such as high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and test plans.
  • Provide guidance on validated design best practices and architecture.
  • Engage in the staging and network integration phases of customer projects.
  • Consult with network deployment and integration teams on design questions and architectural guidelines.
  • Work with Product Line Management, pre-sales, and support teams to gather feedback and meet customer expectations.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with Data Center Design principles.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience in consulting and delivering professional services directly to external customers.
  • Hands-on network integration and problem-solving skills.

Additional Considerations

  • Experience with Network Management & API concepts and protocols, such as NETCONF, YANG, REST, and gNMI.
  • 3rd-party router expertise, including Cisco/Juniper product lines.
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
