Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing files for review, compilation, and audit assignments
  • Assembling complete files attesting to the execution of the engagement
  • Discussing with tax authorities regarding notices of assessment issued, requests from government departments, etc.
  • Preparing and executing personal tax returns
  • Preparing and executing corporate tax returns using TAXPREP software
  • Performing other tasks as directed by management

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required. Having a CPA designation (in progress) would be an asset. Your experience in certification files is crucial, and you should be comfortable working in a computerized environment. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are essential, along with initiative, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities. Judgment and analytical skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills are also highly valued.
