Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute files among department staff and manage workload effectively
  • Manage and follow up on mandates within the assurance team
  • Support assurance staff with training and mentoring

  • Follow up on deadlines and coordinate planning for year-end mandates
  • Review aspects of individual and corporate income tax returns
  • Responsible for special internal projects and participate in special mandates

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer-oriented and excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage a team, delegate, and train people
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and set priorities
  • Good adaptability and stress management skills
  • Strong analytical and self-auditing skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Caseware software
  • Knowledge of standard accounting software such as Quickbook (QBO) and Sage 50
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Hold the CPA professional designation

Benefits:

  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience
  • Must be available to work additional hours, particularly from January to April
  • Occasional travel to customer sites may be required
