Disability Case Manager Job Description

At Alight, we're committed to helping employees navigate health-related absences and return to work seamlessly. As a Disability Case Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our employees and employers in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough case assessments to identify barriers to return-to-work and develop strategies to overcome them.
  • Collaborate with employees, managers, and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth return-to-work process.
  • Provide proactive communication and support to employers and employees throughout the disability management process.
  • Manage the transition to long-term disability (LTD) and provide necessary documentation to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in disability case management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in disability case management or a related field.
  • University degree in a related field, such as occupational health, rehabilitation, or human resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • French/English language skills are an asset.
