Job Title: Senior Desktop Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Systems Administrator to join our team at Donna Cona Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and administering desktop and laptop solutions, as well as providing support in a deployment-based environment using SCCM and Intune.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and administer desktop and laptop solutions
  • Provide support in a deployment-based environment using SCCM and Intune
  • Manage inventory and asset management services for all workstation hardware and software deployed by the GN Help Desk
  • Recycle, decommission, and dispose of GN IT assets and related peripherals
  • Prepare, label, and ship purchased IT goods to clients across Nunavut
  • Administer access rights, expire user accounts, and archive accounts
  • Track and document service incidents and provide status reports
  • Report and update work orders and escalate unresolved items to more senior tiers
  • Enforce desktop/network configuration standards and data security
  • Provide resolution services for known issues and suggest workarounds to maintain a regular flow of business
  • Early recognition of major systems failures and reporting any failures to the proper supporting team for resolution
  • Manage accounts, profiles, and policies using Active Directory
