Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at the Smurfit Westrock Ajax facility. This position is responsible for stacking finished cartons onto skids, performing quality checks, assisting operators and printers with machine setup, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stacking and loading finished cartons onto skids
- Performing quality checks to ensure product meets standards
- Assisting operators and printers with machine setup and maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or printing environment is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and lift up to 40 pounds
