About the Job
Smurfit Westrock is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at the Ajax facility. As a key member of our Print Cut department, you will be responsible for stacking finished cartons, performing quality checks, and assisting operators and printers with machine setup and housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Stack finished cartons onto skids
- Perform quality checks to ensure product meets standards
- Assist operators and printers with machine setup and maintenance
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently
- Physical ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and lift up to 40 pounds
