Senior Risk Control Consultant, Property

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Control Consultant to join our Property and Casualty team at Intact Financial Corporation.
As a Risk Control Consultant, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, regulatory bodies, and industry professionals to identify and mitigate physical and operational hazards. Your expertise will help our organizations manage potential losses and improve their overall cost of risk.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement insurance risk control client service strategies, understanding client needs and building trusting relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities to deliver innovative services and solutions, driving client retention and business development.
- Provide insurance marketing support through risk control reports, outlining recommendations for improvement.
- Pursue continuous learning and development, seeking opportunities to build new skills that deliver value to our clients and partners.
- Foster a collaborative team culture across groups, units, and teams, promoting Intact's values and inspiring others to live them.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Property Risk Control for large commercial/industrial/manufacturing and liability insurance.
- Superior knowledge of relevant Fire Protection Codes and Standards (NFPA).
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
