Job Title: School Bus Mechanic

About the Role:

As a School Bus Mechanic with First Student, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our school buses, ensuring they are in top condition for our students and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine problems and transmission issues
* Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with other mechanics to complete large-scale repairs and maintenance projects

Requirements:

* Valid driver's license required
* Holds an S and/or T license
* Possess a mechanic's tool set
* Willingness to participate in ASE certification program
