Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including managing staff, planning and organizing daily activities, and developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and make informed decisions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff management and task delegation.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and develop strategies to increase sales.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Provide physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations to ensure equal access for all customers.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in retail management or a related field.
