Furniture Mover Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Mover to join our team at Affordable Mattress And Furniture Swift Current Inc. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials with care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
  • Operate various equipment to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Wrap and pack goods for storage and shipping.
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for transportation.
  • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Organize inventories using computerized systems.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
