About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Handler to join our team at Affordable Mattress And Furniture Swift Current Inc. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials with care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
  • Operate various equipment to move materials and products, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Weigh materials and goods accurately to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Wrap and pack goods for storage and transportation.
  • Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Store cargo and materials in a secure and organized manner.
  • Organize inventories using computerized systems to ensure accurate tracking and management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.
