Food Service Manager

Sabitri's Global Cuisine is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Food Preparation and Service: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Smart Serve, and Safe Food Handling certificate.
Fast-paced environment with a team-oriented culture. Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Personal Suitability:- Client Focus: Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Language: English. Work Term: Permanent. Hours: 35 hours per week.
