Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Yellow Brick Road Management Inc. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Make minor repairs to appliances and perform safety and security checks.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Assist with painting and drywall repair tasks.
Education and Experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.

Language of Work: English

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
