About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our team at Ruscana Intertrade Inc. as a Retail and Exhibition Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and overseeing the display of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide advice on merchandise.
  • Sales Transactions: Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of merchandise and ensure that the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
  • Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure that stock levels are maintained.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members, to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Exhibition Planning: Assist in the planning and development of permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, and retail spaces.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or exhibition environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, have attention to detail, and be able to adapt to changing situations.
