Job Summary
This is an interview position for a sales professional who will be responsible for selling FedEx services to both new and existing customers. The primary focus is on existing customers with an average net revenue of $25-$150 per day.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Selling FedEx services to new and existing customers
- Achieving assigned territory revenue objectives
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Providing excellent customer service and support
- Staying up-to-date with FedEx features, pricing structures, and billing systems
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Basic level of proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Internet/Intranet
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Thorough knowledge of FedEx features of service, billing systems, pricing structures, invoice adjustments, etc.
- Solid understanding of FedEx systems/applications
- Ability to multi-task
- Commitment to task
- Overcomes objections/obstacles
- Demonstrated a track record of achieving results
Additional Requirements
The incumbent must remain in position for a minimum of 12 months and be able to operate in a PC Windows environment. In addition, the candidate must be able to successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable. If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, they must be bilingual (French and English).
