Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team at E J Walsh & Co. Inc. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our industrial solutions to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales contracts and proposals to illustrate the benefits of our products and services.
  • Promote our industrial solutions to existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services.
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services.
  • Deliver sales presentations and provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services and resolve product and service-related problems.
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment and supervise activities of other technical sales specialists.
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service.
