We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Accounting Expert to join our team at IFG - International Financial Group. The ideal candidate will have expertise in full-cycle accounting, loan accounting, commercial lending, or mortgage operations, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and managing month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounting for loans, commercial lending, and mortgage portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Manage financial data and reporting using SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Support audits by compiling documentation, resolving inquiries, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data related to lending operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 4 years of overall experience in accounting, with significant exposure to loan accounting, commercial lending, or mortgage operations.
- Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is required.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong skills in general entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
