Job Summary

Nu-Way Personnel Inc. is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
  • Review candidate inventories
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
