Toromont Cat is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Timmins, ON. This role requires relocation to the area and will involve working on heavy equipment repairs at customer sites.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment and leveraging top-tier technical skills. You will also maintain quality workmanship to repair Caterpillar equipment within established time standards and maintain excellent communication with customers through regular on-site visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Technician License 421A, 310T, 310S or any other license relative to this position, following Provincial standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and service of heavy equipment both in the shop and in the field
  • Familiarity with Cat systems (ET and SIS)
  • A valid Driver's License (DZ License preferred)
