Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Utilize hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
