We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Foothills Medical Centre. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, and analysis of diagnostic samples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment, and research.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of samples to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of laboratory results and activities.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta.
  • 1 year recent experience working in a large microbiology laboratory.
