Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Foothills Medical Centre, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, and results analysis of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. Your tasks will include performing routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment, and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and test diagnostic samples
  • Analyze results and report findings
  • Perform routine and specialized procedures
  • Work in a team environment to achieve laboratory goals

Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta
  • 1 year recent experience working in a large microbiology laboratory (preferred)

Working Conditions:
