About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to join our team at Konbiniya Japan Centre. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality merchandise for resale, ensuring alignment with our brand standards and customer preferences.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, and credit terms to optimize our purchasing power.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with our inventory team to ensure accurate forecasting and ordering of merchandise, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of purchasing strategies.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Provide regular market analysis and insights to inform purchasing decisions, and maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
