Konbiniya Japan Centre is a dynamic retail company seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to oversee the procurement of merchandise for our outlets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and ensuring the efficient distribution of merchandise.



Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.



Job Description:


We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team. As the primary point of contact for suppliers, you will be responsible for:



  • Establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers
  • Negotiating prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers
  • Overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets
  • Reviewing the requirements of our establishment and determining the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale
  • Supervising the work of other buyers


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
