Cyrene Garbo is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and families.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week and may be asked to work overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks;
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties;
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children;
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents;
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development;
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children;
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals;
  • Supervise and care for children;
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children;
  • Help children with homework;
Requirements
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification;
  • CPR Certificate;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs);
  • Demonstrated patience, honesty, and reliability;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
