Job Description

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about creating engaging activities, promoting learning, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced educators to develop and implement stimulating programs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all.

Responsibilities
  • Assess children's developmental needs and create personalized learning plans
  • Develop and lead engaging activities, crafts, and games to promote cognitive, physical, and social development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum, including storytelling, singing, and creative expression
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, ensuring high-quality care and support for children
  • Maintain accurate records, communicate with parents, and participate in staff meetings to share progress and ideas
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in early childhood education or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, crouch, or kneel as needed
