Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a clean and safe environment for the children;
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and restrictions;
  • Cook a variety of dishes, including African cuisine;
  • Provide personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Launder clothing and household linens;
  • Feed or assist in feeding the children, ensuring their nutritional needs are met;
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care or a related field; or equivalent experience;
  • A Personal Support Worker Certificate;
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children and caregivers;
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, patience, honesty, dependability, and punctuality;
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The bonus structure provides an additional incentive for exceptional performance.

Free parking is available on site. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, although this is not a condition of employment.
