About the Role
  • This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks as part of their daily duties.
  • The role involves standing for extended periods and using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
Responsibilities
  • Taking customers' orders and serving them at counters or buffet tables.
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items to a high standard.
  • Portioning and wrapping foods efficiently to meet customer demand.
  • Stocking refrigerators and salad bars to ensure an adequate supply of ingredients.
  • Using manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare foodstuffs for cooking and presentation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Will train - no prior experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required during peak periods.
