Salary and Benefits

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Digital Medical Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Services team at McMaster Children's Hospital. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure the highest level of technical quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure the highest level of technical quality.
- Liaise with senior technologists to coordinate service delivery.
- Participate in continuing medical education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A graduate degree in ultrasonography from an accredited program.
- Current membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Professional designation as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of ongoing education and professional development.
