Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation is committed to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Pediatric Imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

About the Job

This temporary full-time position is available until February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric cases.

As a member of our multi-disciplinary healthcare team, you will work closely with senior technologists and radiologists to ensure the technical quality of procedures meets the highest standards.

You will also have opportunities for continuing medical education and professional growth, with scheduled rounds and training programs in pediatric MSK ultrasound exams, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling obstetrical guidance procedures.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited training program in ultrasonography
  • Current membership in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Current registration with Sonography Canada preferred
