Payfare Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Staff Information Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading security initiatives across all domains.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement secure cloud architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead security initiatives across all domains, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation activities.
- Develop and adopt information security and governance standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and provide recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field.
- CISSP certification with endorsement phase fully completed.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a strong understanding of defense-in-depth strategies and implementation of technical controls.
- Experience working with compliance programs like PCI-DSS or SOC.
- Strong understanding of security concepts around PKI, TLS, and encryption.
- Experience using network and security assessment tools, including EDR, RMM, MDM, SSO, and CVE databases.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix-based operating systems, Python programming language, and Shell scripting.
