Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Surety Account Manager to join our team at HUB Intl Canada West ULC (Prairies). As a key member of our Account Management & Service department, you will be responsible for maintaining successful client and underwriting relationships, thoroughly understanding suretyship, and counseling clients on its application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, license bonds, and other bonds, including review and processing of bond riders.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their surety needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of contract surety experience, or an equivalent combination of business administration education and administrative experience.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Innovative mindset, with the ability to develop creative solutions and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Motivated to support a diverse team and contribute within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within an Account Manager capacity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with Epic broker management system is considered an asset.
  • Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
