About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at New Star Renovation Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Estimate costs and materials
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
