Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at On Side Restoration. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for rebuilding and restoring damaged personal property in response to disasters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and restore wooden structures, including framing, drywalling, and painting
  • Install ceilings, knockdown, and texture
  • Install insulation and vapour barriers
  • Install doors, trim, moldings, and baseboards
  • Install hardware and cabinetry

Requirements:

  • Experience working in construction environments
  • Tools and skills to use them
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality
  • Safety mindset and valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled trades ticket (Carpenter, Painter, Cabinetmaker)
  • IICRC certification (restoration focus)
  • WHMIS and First Aid certifications
