Bamboo Inn Restaurant is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and preparing complete meals, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and costs.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.

  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
