Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing reporting and analytical content using data from PCL's business applications. This includes acquiring data from various structured and unstructured sources, designing and developing business data models, and creating and maintaining technical documentation.

You will also define test plans, execute test cases, and ensure that BI content meets quality assurance standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with business, technology, and support teams to guarantee that business requirements are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science (or equivalent education)
  • 3+ years of design and development experience in business intelligence, data management, and data modeling
  • Extensive hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience in UI/UX development as it applies to dashboard and report design
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and relational database design and implementation techniques
  • Effective communication and writing skills necessary to lead technical discussions and information-gathering sessions
