We are seeking a skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team at Anet Fiber Tech Inc. in a permanent, part-time capacity, working approximately 30 to 35 hours per week.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to apply your knowledge of data management principles and practices to drive business growth and improvement within our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect relevant data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure, utilizing various tools and methodologies to analyze data effectively.
  • Database Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain computer databases to store and manage data efficiently.
  • Requirements Documentation: Document customers' requirements for projects, ensuring accurate capture and translation into actionable data-driven insights.
  • Reporting and Query Development: Develop and implement reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations for other information systems professionals.
  • Database Operations: Operate database management systems to analyze data, leveraging expertise to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
  • Data Governance: Research and document data requirements, collection administration policies, and access rules to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce policies and procedures for network access and usage, as well as backup and recovery of critical data assets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in developing and implementing data policies, standards, and models.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail, requiring high levels of accuracy and precision.
  • Sitting Work: Spend most work hours sitting, necessitating comfortable workspace arrangements and regular breaks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Experience: Have at least one year but less than two years of experience in a related role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and growth.
  • Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Personal Suitability: Showcase personal qualities like accuracy, client focus, initiative, judgement, organizational skills, teamwork, adaptability, accountability, and a quick learning capacity.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $75,000, based on industry standards and national averages. Additionally, we offer competitive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
