About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at C&Y PMP Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Pouring Materials: Assist in mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt, and ensure that they are properly spread and finished.
  • Assisting with Pipeline Construction: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Drilling and Blasting Rock: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Leveling Earth: Help to level earth to fine grade specifications, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Demolishing Buildings: Assist in demolishing buildings, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
  • Clean-up and Debris Removal: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
