About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at C&Y PMP Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure proper application.
  • Assisting with Pipeline Construction: Help to align pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Earthwork and Demolition: Assist in leveling earth to fine grade specifications and help to demolish buildings as required.
  • Clean-up and Maintenance: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Site Safety and Security: Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by removing rubble and other debris from construction sites and directing traffic as needed.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: This is a permanent position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
