About the Role
This is a specialized clinical position that provides mental health, addictions, and concurrent treatment services to individuals and/or family members. The Social Worker I will be part of an integrated mental health and addictions team, working closely with other professionals and community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and follow-up services
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals
- Provide referrals to outside agencies and resources as needed
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work Degree from an accredited institution
- Current registration with NLCSW
- At least 2 years of experience working in a mental health or addictions setting
- Strong understanding of best practices in mental health and addictions treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
