**Job Overview**

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Behavior Support Specialist at our Pocono Center location.

This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives by providing centered and family-based treatment according to Child Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles.

The successful candidate will work alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team to design and direct the implementation of behavioral intervention plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in behavioral management protocols.
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members to design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan.
  • Identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques, and recommend least restrictive behavioral change methods.
  • Develop treatment plans, services, and outcome-based short-term goals for identified children/adolescents.
  • Attend and participate in Inter-Agency Service Planning Team (ISPT) meetings.
  • Gather written information on the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences to determine the need for behavioral intervention.
  • Collaborate with other involved professions and agencies to provide unified services and continuity of care.
  • Develop discharge planning criteria.

Requirements

  • Mental Health Master's Degree with certification in ABA or other behavioral management OR
  • Other degree with 12 credits in behavior management AND 1 year experience providing clinically supervised treatment to children AND 1 year experience with behavioral interventions.
