Feeding Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to support students with eating skills and habits in our schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in achieving independent eating skills and habits
  • Provide hand-over-hand support with eating
  • Dress or undress students for outdoor play after lunch
  • Set up students for successful eating opportunities by providing food in an appropriate order

Requirements:

  • Ability to act quickly in emergencies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tact, diplomacy, and discretion in interactions with the school community

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid training
  • Behaviour Management Systems (BMS) training

Additional Information:

As a condition of employment, all new employees will be required to submit a Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and complete Ministry mandated training and Health and Safety training prior to their start date.
