About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Walnut Beach Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping processes and procedures.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Coordinate the purchase of equipment and supplies to meet the needs of the housekeeping department.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
    • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
    • Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the housekeeping budget to ensure that expenses are controlled and that we are achieving our financial targets.
    • Monitor and report on housekeeping expenses and revenue to senior management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
