Job Title: Countertop Installer

Shiny Stone Care is seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing high-quality stone countertops in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine the layout and installation procedures for stone countertops
  • Set up machines and equipment for tile installation
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications for stone installation
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with stone
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in stone installation
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses/goggles
  • Organized and reliable
  • Team player
Work Environment:

As a Countertop Installer, you will work outdoors in a noisy environment, with a focus on construction, service, residential, and commercial settings.

Security and Safety:

Shiny Stone Care prioritizes the safety and security of our employees and clients. As a Countertop Installer, you will be required to maintain a basic security clearance and adhere to our safety protocols.

Transportation/Travel Information:

As a Countertop Installer, you will be required to have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
