Job Title: Countertop Installer

Shiny Stone Care is seeking a skilled Countertop Installer to join our team. As a Countertop Installer, you will be responsible for installing countertops made of granite, marble, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the layout and installation procedures for countertops
  • Set up machines and equipment for tile installation
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications for installation
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
  • Organized, reliable, and a team player
Work Environment:
  • Outdoors
  • Noisy
  • Construction, service, residential, and commercial settings
