About the JobThis is a temporary part-time position, requiring approximately 12 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's licence, own transportation, and be able to travel to client locations as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and healthy childcare services to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and organized home environment, completing light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Engage in educational activities with children, promoting their cognitive and emotional development.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with clients, communicating effectively and responding to their needs.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
- Criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and reference required.
The successful candidate will be working in a rural area, with public transportation not available. A valid driver's licence and own transportation are required for this position.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $20-$25 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
