Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso Gas station. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and ensure accurate ordering and receiving of merchandise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment, gas bar.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, manual dexterity, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, judgement, ability to multitask.
What We Offer:
  • Permanent Full-Time Position: 35 to 40 hours per week.
