Job Title: Substation Electrical Site Supervisor

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Substation Electrical Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily on-site construction activities. This role requires leading on-site crew while ensuring project construction is executed effectively and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure crew timesheets are completed and submitted daily
  • Act as the liaison between the company and the client's site crew
  • Support implementation of company's on-site safety policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to meet project's construction timelines
  • Maintain quality of workmanship as per the design documents
  • Mentor, train and motivate the job-site crew in adopting a culture of safety
  • Support internal and external audit and inspection activities
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field or Journeyman PSE/Electrician designation required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
  • 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry required
  • Experience in medium to high-voltage substation construction a definite asset
  • Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, project scheduling, cost and quality control, engineering drawings a definite asset
  • Must be able to travel to sites as required
